It’s been a little reggae-heavy on here this week but instead of fighting it (it’s good for you! cures glaucoma) we decided to get it all over with in one post. Accordingly here is a round-up of all the reggaematical mixtape/podcast goodness currently circulating on the interyard. These should carry you at least through the end of the work week so after this you have no excuse for not being productive. And neither do we.

1.Federation Sound on Maliboom Boom Radio (via Federation) – No sooner than they debuted a mix from friend Walshy, the coconut-heads at Malibu rum enlisted our good partners Max & Kenny from Federation sound to helm the next installment of their new Island-hop radio station. Next week’s selector: my Mom. Just Kidding.

2. Major Lazer podcasts (via Mad Decent) – In anticipation of their sophomore (sophomoric?) Major Lazer LP, Diplo & Switch have recently dropped not one but 2 promo mixes; Lazerproof and Summer Mix which is Diplo putting down some dubs and ML exclusives live in Chernobyl.

3. Wayne Lotek’s “Dead Rastas” Mix (via Seen)- A Sugar Minnott tribute and follow up to the “Dead Rappers” mix, this blend has tons of classics from Bob, Tosh, Sugar, Jacob Miller, Yabby You and Augustus Pablo. 10-point bonus for concept, minus 10 points for omitting Hugh Mundell (booo!).

4. Dub Boy – “Dancehall Nice Again” (via Seen) – Another Seen recommendation, courtesy of UK’s Dub Boy who runs the “Ruffnek Diskotek” nights in Bristol, tons of limey-friendly dancehall blended in anticipation of Notting Hill Carnival.

5. Ghetto Palms (via FADER) – Last but not least; me! Check last week’s column for the world premier of Jeremy Harding’s “City Life” riddim if you missed it and this week’s for some Jahdan and an exclusive Drake refix if you’re into that kind of thing.
