You know we have stayed repping veteran deejay Spragga Benz’s Shotta Culture project with super-producer Salaam Remi, so we would just be remiss if we did not post this video, which in some ways is the inspiration for the whole thing. The song is dedicated to Spragga’s son Carlton Kimani Grant aka Carlyle, who was killed two years ago today in an altercation with the police. It’s in his memory that Spragga started the Carlyle Foundation for Education and launched the annual “Life Fest” event.
