Swiss producer of hipster-friendly beats Samuel Riot aka Wildlife is dropping a powerful new EP of all dancehall-ish tracks and blogs are definitely talking. Seen just posted this interview covering the concept behind the project, entitled Buckup (three tracks with three different artists, each inspired by a different era/decade in Jamaican music.) I myself premiered the track “Galang So,” featuring deejay legend Major Mackerel, on the most recent Ghetto Palms and Mad Decent posted the remix along with a special blend from Wildlife. Then today Wildlife dropped a video teaser for the nowadays-tune “Nocturnal World” with Terry Lynn (watch below) and released the whole thing to Bandcamp, including more remixes from his hipster bredren Douster, L-Vis 1990 and French Fries. Taken all together, that’s one bag of hip ting, so pace yourself!
