This Thursday, October 13th undercover UK dancehall queen (yes, we seen you doing your thing at a Federation dance!) Estelle will be headlining Beverly Bonds’ world-renowned Black Girls Rock tour. The line-up for the New York stop is a veritable hurricane of gal-power featuring Rah Digga, Lil Mama and Be’la Donna in addition to Bev and ‘Stelle. Since she is half-Senegalese and half-Caribbean, we called jurisdiction on half of Estelle (we’re gonna half to fight with Okayafrica over which half) and got 1 pair (2 tix) of BGR passes to give away to you, the lotal LargeUp reader.
Ok here’s what you must do: go to our facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/largeupdotcom and like us. Then share the contest post to your own facebook profile and preferably add a witty comment that will get our attention with airhorn-like urgency–you could tell us what reggae song you’d like to hear Estelle cover live at the show, or why we should select you or just say something funny. We will choose the best comment (or at random if all your comments are boring) and contact the winner via the magic of facebook (Full details on the show after the jump).
