We came across Tarrus Riley several times in New York City over this past Labor Day Weekend, each time with Jamaican director Storm Saulter and his co-pilot/brother, Nile Saulter, in tow. As we found out then, the trio were in town filming a video for “Come Ova,” Riley’s single on Seanizzle’s Sex on Di Beach riddim. Two months later, here it is. The cameo-filled, travelogue-themed clip—look out for Damian Marley, Bobby Konders, Stephen McGregor, Gramps Morgan and even our homegirl Hanna Herbertson, among others—was shot at various locations throughout the city, including Hammerstein Ballroom (where Riley performed at Massive B’s On Da Reggae Tip concert), Roy Wilkins Park (for the Reggae Rhythm and Blues Festival) and Miss Lily’s. Catch the video below and, if for some reason you haven’t yet, be sure to watch our “At Home with Tarrus Riley and the Blak Soil Family” LargeUp TV episode here.
