Busy Season: Watch Busy Signal’s “Missing You” Video + New LP Details

Words by Jesse Serwer—

Busy Signal is really getting in touch with his roots lately. The deejay, who has just announced plans for an upcoming fourth LP called Reggae Music Again (out April 24), has dropped a video for the album’s lead single “Missing You (Come Over),” and it depicts a side of Mr. Busy we’ve definitely never seen before. Mr. Signal shows his dedication to his ladylove by getting his forage on in a bucolic riverside setting, and flexing what appear to be ample housekeeping skills, as well. Clearly, there’s more to look forward to, as the video promises thrills “to be continued” while the just-released cover art for Reggae Music Again depicts the deejay in a room full of analog recording equipment, setting the tone for what should be a decidedly throwback-oriented release.
