Today would have been the 60th birthday of Jacob Miller, who died tragically in a car accident 32 years ago. The crew at Miami’s Circle House Studios just sent us this clip they put together in honor of the legendary reggae vocalist and Inner Circle frontman, featuring Ian Lewis, Roger Lewis and Touter Harvey of the “Bad Boys of Reggae” remembering their former bandmate.
Also making cameos are vocalists Peter Morgan (of Morgan Heritage) and Da Professor, who join Inner Circle on a version of Miller’s classic “We a Rockers,” and classic footage of Miller with Inner Circle from 1977’s Roots Rock Reggae. Watch the video below and read our in-depth interview with Ian Lewis and Third World’s Cat Coore for more on the story of Jacob Miller.
