Women generally seem to love Tarrus Riley but apparently there was this one that took him for granted. Her loss, as not only will she no longer be getting personal serenades from the one called “Singy Singy” anymore but she’s also the subject of “Not Missing You,” a gleeful sigh of relief in the vein of Beres Hammond’s “Over You.”
“Not Missing You” is one of four brand-new, exclusive songs on the 20th anniversary edition of VP Records’ Reggae Gold series, dropping June 26. The double-disc set features the usual assortment of current dancehall hits, and a bonus disc gathering some of the biggest tunes from the series’ history, like Wayne Wonder’s “No Letting Go” and Beenie Man’s “Romie.” Pre-order Reggae Gold 2012 here, and watch our LargeUp TV episode at home with Tarrus Riley here.
