Ticket Giveaway: Ziggy Marley in NYC, 6/17

Words by LargeUp Crew—

Ziggy Marley, eldest son in the first family of Jamaican music and comic book author, stops into New York on his “Wild and Free” tour this Sunday, June 17, for an intimate concert at Irving Plaza, with our good friends Bajah + the Dry Eye Crew opening up. We’ve got a pair of free tickets to give away—to win, just follow these easy instructions:

1. Head over to LargeUp’s Facebook page and like it, if you haven’t already.
2. Find the Ziggy Marley ticket giveaway post and leave a comment telling us why you want two tickets to see Ziggy Marley in NYC. Maybe you have been trying to see Ziggy for the last 20 years, but every time he comes to town your basement springs a leak. Maybe you just want to impress a gal or guy with your ticket-scoring abilities. Any which way, whoever leaves the best comment by Friday at 1 p.m. wins the tickets.
3. LargeUp will contact the winners on Friday afternoon so be sure to check your Facebook messages.

Good luck, and enjoy our favorite Ziggy video, for the Melody Makers’ 1989 single “Look Who’s Dancing” while you get it all worked out:
