Last week our creative friends at Shimmy Shimmy launched the art exhibition Art in the Dancehall, currently showcasing the marriage between dancehall music and visual arts in Birmingham, England. Now, they have dropped some more visual fiya on us in the form of fashion. Their 2012 summer line was just released and we have to say, we at Large Up have already placed our pre-orders. The UK-based designers have come up with some really fresh new shirts that pay homage to the old school with a “Chat to Mi Back” shirt referencing Lady Saw, of course, and the first Super Cat tee we’ve ever seen. The new line also keeps up with the times with an “A Yah Suh Nice” design, referencing Potential Kidd’s new anthem. Check some of the designs below (or in this neat video) and buy the ones you like here.
