This week’s Mixtape Mondays, though, is all about Australia and T&T: we’ve got mixes from both countries and another one which Major Lazer’s Trini representative, Jillionaire, mixed for an Aussie magazine. Major Lazer, ITMFM Stereosonic mix: KABOOM! Very large new mix from the Major Lazer fam, cooked up for the folks at inthemix Australia. With our bredrin Jillionaire at the controls for this one, we open up with a nyabhingi intro leading right into an original one drop remix of Alex Clare’s “Too Close” by none other than yours truly. A few trap remixes move into a big new single from our dude Collie Buddz and the rest is a soca- and dancehall-infused mash of signature Major Lazer vibes, with that extra “Trini Chris” touch.
