You Rate It: Matt Shadetek ft. Kid Kurupt, Chan Dizzy & 77 Klash “I Like To Move”
Words by DJ Theory —
Brooklyn-based producer / DJ / audio educator and Dutty Artz label rep Matt Shadetek is back with a new original, showing once again that he’s not afraid to take a few chances behind the boards. On “I Like To Move” Shadetek enlists JA talent Kid Kurupt, Chan Dizzy, and frequent BK collaborator 77 Klash to ride ruffneck bass, steady 909 drums and an obvious flip of Reel 2 Real‘s “I Like To Move It” cleverly applying the hook from the original into a jugglers theme.
