BRIC House, Brooklyn’s newest performance and cultural space, officially opens its doors this Thursday night (10/3), and, for their very first show, they’ve tapped none other than Jamaica native and NYC resident Burning Spear. If you’ve never caught Spear live before—or even if you have —consider this your opportunity, as the voice of “Marcus Garvey,” “Slavery Days” and other reggae classics will perform before an intimate crowd of just 400. And, we can tell you from first-hand experience, Spear is as vital as ever—trust us, we’ve worked out with him. (More on that later…)
