Mixtape Mondays: Mr. Easy, J Boog, Endboys

Words by Deejay Theory —

Another big week of vibes and selection here at Mixtape Mondays with a rare treat from one of our favorite sing-jays, new music from a large talent, and breezy dancehall from The UK. Adjust your dial below

The LargeUp Sessions on Radio Lily w/ Guest Mr. Easy: This past week on The LargeUp Sessions the one and only Mr. Easy payed a visit to our station at Radio Lily in NYC to bless some freestyles, chat about some large new releases and par with your host DJ Gravy. It was definitely a memorable show so we had to peel off the live recording and post it up for everyone this week. Gravy leads things off with some selections and is later joined by our own Jesse Serwer to break down some raggamuffin gangster rap and general rude bwoy science. Around the 70 minute mark we move into the segment with “The Don” Mr. Easy and the rest is history. Soundcloud bots wouldn’t let us post (chaa) so stream the show via mixcloud below and tune in to the LargeUp Sessions on RadioLily.com every Thursday from 6-8pm ET

J Boog, My Diamond Life: Extra large new collab from Cali/Samoan reggae royalty J Boog and skate/streetwear giant Diamond Supply Co. With both teams collectively doing large-scale damage in California and worldwide, it seems like a fitting pair they’ve combined on this project of music and culture. Recognized for crossing over genres and styles while collecting masses of supporters in the process, this mix of tunes from Boog should no doubt continue his reach and get the fans fired up for a new album on the way. Gotta salute the Jah Warrior Shelter fam as well and of course Wash House Music for holding down the boards every time. Boom Bahngg! Stream and download below

Endboys x Tank Magazine, We Aint Rampin pt. 2:  Some tripped out and modern dancehall favorites seal it up this week courtesy of bashy UK duo Endboys (Endgame and Palmistry). Stumbled on this mix that was fashionably put together for Tank Magazine while looking into Palmistry’s debut single “Catch” that ‘s hot off the press via our friends at Mixpak Records. Always on the watch for new sounds, Mixpak have found a unique offering with this new single and through this mix it’s clear to see where some of the influence stems. Cop the single here, stream the mix below, tracklist here
