In November I did a write up on “Mic Magican,” the lead single from Still Disturbed, Ward 21‘s first album in five years. Now, three months later, the album has just been released via the Germaica Digital label, and can be purchased on iTunes here.
Andre ‘Suku’ Gray, Kunley McCarthy and Mark ‘Mean Dog’ Henry have crafted an album that captures the raw essence of dancehall. The 15-track album features the likes of Sean Paul, Konshens, Marcy Chin and Deewun rhyming over Ward 21, Jam2 and Baby G original productions and re-worked versions of classic riddims such as Stalag and Heavenless.
