Words by Natalie Weiner—
Chronixx is getting everyone hyped for his Dread and Terrible EP, dropping April 1st—remember the the health-conscious track “Spirulina” from last week? Well, today he’s offering LargeUp readers the exclusive chance to listen to the dub version of last year’s big hit “Here Comes Trouble,” one of ten tracks—seven originals, and three dubs—on the EP. The track, which draws on Ini Kamoze’s classic Sly and Robbie collab “Wings With Me,” is given the proper dub treatment by Rootsman riddim producer Winta James aka Overstand JA.
Run tune below, and look out for Chronixx if you’re in Europe—he just kicked off his European tour in Amsterdam last night.
