It’s been a busy year for our dance ambassador and columnist Blacka Di Danca. His fourth European tour has brought him to workshops and events in 32 cities and 18 countries. For the final stop on this particular journey, he returns to France this Saturday, April 12, to teach a class at the first annual Dancehall & Ragga Jam World Conference at Equinoxe in Paris.
Other dancers taking part in the two-day event (continuing through Sunday April 13), described as “More than a Workshop …an EXPERIENCE for all levels with masterclasses, shows, conferences… and surprises” include LargeUp family Sir Ledgen, event organizer and Paris-based dance phenom Laure Courtellemont, and Jamaica’s Raddy Rich and Crazy Hype.
For more on Blacka’s experience spreading the gospel of dancehall through Europe, check his interview with Belgium’s DJ Septik on the internationally-syndicated Slow Bounce radio show.
