EVENT: Federation Sound + LargeUp Present Wayne Wonder, Cham + Chi Ching Ching in Miami (5/22)

It was a few weeks ago that we first told you about the party in Miami we’re throwing along with Federation Sound to celebrate their 15th anniversary. At the time, all we could reveal about the event, happening at Blackbird Ordinary on May 22, was the stacked DJ lineup consisting of Federation’s Max Glazer and Kenny Meez; DJ Gravy, Orijahnal Vibez and Micro Don of the Rice and Peas crew ; Silent Addy and Keemcentrix of Eccentrix Sound; and Corey Chase.

Well, now we can tell you the guest artists who’ll be joining us at the bashment: Cham, Wayne Wonder and Chi Ching Ching. And those are just the ones we can tell you about right now. Wayne and Cham are staples in Miami— in fact both make their homes in South Florida—but this will be the 305’s first dose of Chi Ching Ching, fresh off his recent tours of Europe and NYC (more on that later). Last time we touched Miami, surprise guests Damian and Stephen Marley (not to mention announced guests Bunji Garlin and Fay-Ann Lyons) shelled down the place so bad, the city was buzzing for weeks—so you know this one’s gonna be live.

It all goes down the Thursday before Best of the Best/Memorial Day weekend, so if you’re headed to MIA for the festivities that week, consider this your kickoff party.
