Jamaica’s newest music hero Chronixx is having another big year, and Tuesday July 22 he’ll add another notch to his red, gold and green belt when he makes his U.S. television debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The “Here Comes Trouble” singer will be the first reggae artist to appear on The Tonight Show since Fallon (and the Roots) took over the late-night institution from Jay Leno in February. He’ll be backed live by his band, Zincfence Redemption. Chronixx and Zincfence’s appearance comes just days ahead of their highest-profile U.S. concert appearance to date, as the headliner for LargeUp’s inaugural Central Park SummerStage concert presented with Okayplayer, Federation Sound and Rice & Peas on July 26.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs at 11:35pm ET on NBC.
