For the fourth year, LargeUp is bringing the bashment to Miami Music Week and Winter Music Conference with our annual Winter Music Massive. This year’s edition features Assassin aka Agent Sasco, in his first visit to the US since appearing on Kendrick Lamar’s “The Blacker The Berry,” alongside Tifa, plus sounds from DJ Gravy (Rice and Peas), Corey Chase (Dubwise) and Silent Addy (Eccentrix Sound), at 10pm in the “hidden space” behind Coyo Taco in Wynwood. Abebe Lewis of Circle House and Circle Village Studios hosts the party, presented in association with Naisha Nicholas of Urban Relations, 222 Worldwide and The Solid Agency.
The Winter Music Massive is never your ordinary dancehall party so, as always, expect the unexpected. Last year, Damian and Stephen Marley dropped by to perform “Traffic Jam” and “Welcome to Jamrock,” capping off an already electric event featuring Bunji Garlin, Fay-ann Lyons, Jesse Royal, Jo Mersa and more. People are still talking about that night in MIA
