Don Corleon teams up with the likes of Beenie Man and Bounty Killer to deliver a wicked dancehall version of Rihanna’s hit song, “Bitch Better Have My Money,” (or “BBHMM,” for short). The remix sits on a well-crafted riddim from Corleon with a strong reference to the early 2000s dancehall—the era that brought him acclaim as a legendary producer. Rihanna’s first verse and chorus are essentially the same as the original; the track switches gears as Beenie Man delivers high energy and word play, while Bounty murders the track with classic “War Lord” lyrics. The original track featured the Bajan superstar on a trap beat from up-and-coming Trinidadian-American producer Deputy; now, with the addition of two of Jamaica’s lyrical giants and great musical rivals (appearing on a track together for the second time in the past year) comes a version that fully brings it all back to the Caribbean.
