Cindy Breakspeare—Jamaica’s Miss World, and mother of Damian Marley—flexes her singing skills with dancehall icon Shinehead, on the deck at the Welcome to Jamrock Reggae Cruise. Their medley on classic reggae riddim, “Love I Can Feel,” includes versions of Beres Hammond’s “Tempted to Touch” and Rose Royce’s “Golden Touch.” (Which Shinehead covered on 1988’s Unity album). Shinehead also gives us a few lines from Etta James’ “At Last,” while paying tribute to Ms. Breakspeare’s status as a beauty queen for eternity.
