LargeUp Premiere: Rampage Sound Global, Waiting For The War – Reggae Sequel Vol. 11: We start things off with a World Premiere from DJ Rampage out of NYC who blessed us with his new roots, dub and reggae mix to spread some knowledge and teach di yutes dem. The title is inspired by Daniel “Bambaata” Marley’s Lead single “Waiting For The War” off his upcoming album and also the lead track for this CD. Rampage collected a host of current and rising artists for this mix all inspiring us to open our hearts and minds in this climate of global turmoil. Broken Silence Sound, Clean and Pure – 2015 Roots Mix: The West Coast’s Broken Silence Sound compiled a nice selection of some of the roots reggae from 2015 that you may have missed. Dancehall gets nuff play in the clubs these days but it’s always refreshing to hear new roots and culture music being played by today’s selectas.
