DJ Puffy, Barbados Crop Over 2016 Soca Sampler: Festivities in Barbados for this year’s Crop Over have been under way since June with everything gearing up for the final celebration on Kadooment Day on August 1st. The traditional harvest festival of Barbados closely mirrors Trinidad’s Carnival but it’s clear that Trinidad isn’t the only source for great soca, as Barbados has been pumping out soca heavyweights like Lil Rick, Peter Ram, Fadda Fox and Leadpipe & Saddis for years now. DJ Autograph, Safari Sound Waves Episode 2: The newest member of Sweden’s Safari Sound is none other than frequent LargeUp contributor and JA-born, New York City resident DJ Autograph.
