Run Tune: Verse Simmonds Brings The Vibes on “In My Feelings”

Throwing his hat in the ring with some late summer ’16 heat, U.S. Virgin Islands native and frequent hitmaker Verse Simmonds doesn’t disappoint with his new single, “In My Feelings.” Of course, it doesn’t hurt to have the production genius of Black Chiney’s Supa Dups with him on the boards. The tandem conjures that driving Caribbean flavor that has taken over pop music with ease recently, as Verse, known for his slick lyrics and smooth voice, flows seamlessly over Supa Dups’ tropical background. The track, sure to heat up the airwaves over the next few months, is an appetizer for Verse’s upcoming third EP, To All The Girls, out later this month.

Stream “In My Feelings” below, or listen to it on LargeUp’s Now Things playlist on Apple Music.

You can get more from Mr. Simmonds here, and check out some of his live performance from LargeUp’s Austin Island showcase at SXSW 2016.
