LargeUp Premiere: Listen to Jo Mersa’s “Private Beach Party”

Words by Richard “Treats” Dryden

Through Jo Mersa Marley‘s travels, the young singjay is exploring new places physically and musically starting with his new single, “Private Beach Party.” This secluded spot could be anywhere in the world for Jo—or even for the listener—but the key word is “private,” indicating that it is a secret backdrop made just for two. The empty nest of Jo’s described get-together on the beach is accompanied by Stephen “Ragga” Marley’s All Natural Riddim, for a dose of modern lover’s rock at its finest. The Ragga-produced instrumental will be released via the Ghetto Youths International label on January 27th.

Until then, Jo Mersa will be performing “Private Beach Party” through his 30-city tour of the United States starting today in California, as he supports headliner J Boog. Check out the tour dates below, to see when Jo Mersa and J Boog are hitting your town.
