LargeUp Premiere: Tifa’s “Just a Little Bit Longer”

After wading into soca waters on a recent remix of her 2016 single “Big Bumper” with Fay-Ann Lyons, dancehall star Tifa dives full force into the Carnival season with her latest single, “Just a Little Bit Longer.”

The Happy Days riddim, from “Gimme Di Light”  producer Troyton Rami (aka Black Shadow), is one of those instrumentals that can go “either way” — meaning soca or dancehall. With soca vocalists Rupee (“Tipsy”) and Skinny Fabulous (“Lights Go Down”) already touching the track, Tifa (who’s set to head out on the road with a Canadian tour) takes it to the dancehall with some bere slackness. Now, Tifa is no prude, but this is her at her nastiest and most provocative, promising all kinds of dutty dutty things in the bedroom. Someone’s going to have a good night…
