Jillionaire, Soca Mix for THUMP: There are few better candidates to send off T&T Carnival 2017 than the one Trini Chris a.k.a Jillionaire. Starting things out on the power tip before moving into more groovy territory, this short but sweet 20 minute segment takes you on a guided tour of Chris’s top picks from the soca crop this year including appearances by one of my personal favorites Voice, newcomer on the scene Uncle Ellis, and an exclusive remix of Machel Montano’s “Fast Wine” for the people. Listen below and buss a quick wine.

Blaqrose Supreme, Soka Supreme (T&T Carnival Outro): One last ting to properly send off T&T Carnival from hard-working Bajan bredren Blaqrose Supreme. When he’s not cranking out DJ edits or holding down parties, clubs and radio throughout the Caribbean, Blaqrose comes with the fire soca mixtapes like this proper T&T Carnival send off. This one is a megamix covering over 1.5 hours of tunes that charged the road this year fueling the fans with all the sunshine, paint, rum, costumes, and good energy they could handle – or at least enough to carry them thru to next year. Iron Lyon, Vibes & Stuff Vol.2: Rounding out the week with the latest mixtape offering from Faction Sound Crew family DJ Iron Lyon. Repping Miami all day, Lyon is one of the busiest dudes on the set but found some time to lace up volume 2 in his Vibes & Stuff series that highlight some of the different flavors he’s currently rocking in the club and behind the scenes. Heavy on the dancehall and moombahton tip with a pop presence throughout, this one is filled with just what the title implies, and an easy add for your rotation this week. Listen below, download here.
