Serious Things A Go Happen: Dancehall Art in Brooklyn

LargeUp is teaming with Hat & Beard Press, publishers of Serious Things A Go Happen: Three Decades of Dancehall Signs, and B Sides Jeans for an evening of dancehall music, art + culture at new Brooklyn venue 99 Scott, tonight from 7 to 11.

LargeUp editor Jesse Serwer will moderate a panel on dancehall art with Marcus Burrowes of Rockers NYC from 7, then DJ Gravy (LargeUp/Rice and Peas) and Max Glazer (Federation Sound/Rice and Peas) run tune. Complementary drinks from Lagunitas and Arlen Marks. RSVP at www.rsvp99scott.com/tickets
