Angela Hunte, R.A.W. Mixtape: LargeUp recently checked in with the very talented miss Angela Hunte – an artist you need to familiarize yourself with quick if you haven’t already. The Brooklyn/Trini native boasts an impressive list of credits throughout hip hop, pop, reggae, dancehall and soca, but now she’s finally shared her debut solo album entitled R.A.W in a roots rock reggae style. To make the occasion even more official, Miami’s dEVOLVE compiled this mixtape background of the diverse catalog and mind of one of the baddest singer/songwriters in the game today. Neil Nice, Reggae Showcase Selections – Nuff Respect Peter Dante: This one is in tribute courtesy of selector Neil Nice from Well Versatile Sound inna BK. In full respect to one of his musical mentors DJ Peter Dante from Rhode Island, Neil pulls up dusty classics and rarites inna Peter Dante style paired with crucial vocal drops from Peter’s personal collection dating back to early 80’s.
