Chalice Palace is a video series from Jamaican producers Natural High Music, shot at their Halfway Tree, Jamaica studio, The Bungalow — a/k/a the Chalice Palace.
Featuring live performances from collaborators Keida, Keznamdi, Stevie Lightning and Makonnen, the series launched in 2017 as support for their debut EP, Urban Roots. For the latest edition, up-and-coming Jamaican singer/deejay/MC Royal Blu stops by the Chalice Palace to perform “Reap What You Sow,” a collaboration with Natural High which happens to be the first release on the new Delicious Vinyl Island record label — and the first single from the upcoming release, Urban Roots 2. The uplifting reggae vibration features top-notch drum works, Hawaiian-inspired slide guitar and a mix of singing and double-time rapped flows from Royal Blu (“Let’s Get High,” “Blue Mahoe”), one of the brightest young talents currently making waves on Jamaica’s music scene. Vibes.
