Natural High Music, Naturally Delicious: Straight outta Half-way Tree, Jamaica, the latest installment in the LargeUp Mix Series comes from Natural High Music‘s Blaise “Binghi” Davis and Jordan “Tallman” Armond and is a sure-shot for the rotation this week. Blending reggae, dancehall and hip hop, Naturally Delicious is an official combination between Natural High and the newly-launched Delicious Vinyl Island imprint. Fyakin x Walshy Fire, Reggaevival Mixtape: The big boss Walshy Fire returns with another chapter in his Reggaevival mix series. Walshy’s now produced a handful of these tapes as a necessary platform to showcase the brightest new voices in the ever-bubbling reggae revival space. The latest brings you the sound of rising Jamaican singer Fyakin who slays an hour of music on this mix, with about half being Major Lazer dubplates (you might have heard of them). Safari Sound, Summer Breeze 2018: Rounding out this week’s selections is a collection of the latest bashment singles and riddims ruling Summer ’18, via Swedish ambassadors Safari Sound. All the summer anthems are on repeat here, some in dubplate form, from ‘They Don’t Know’ to ‘Bake Bean.’ Plus: Huge riddims like Do It, Rice Grain, Zinc Roof and more, all mixed by DJ Shirkhan.
