Just in time for April 20th comes High Notes, a new web video series combining in-studio freestyles with epic smoke sessions and mind-expanding conversation.
For the inaugural episode, we catch up with dancehall icons Sean Paul and Chi Ching Ching at SubDecibel Sound studio in Brooklyn. While sampling New Yorkโs legendary Sour Diesel, the duo offer their take on topics including weed etiquette and the legendary, lost Jamaican strain known as lambsbread, in between freestyles over live riddims supplied by High Notes house band, DollarVan.
Episode 1 of High Notes will be released in three installments over the next three weeks, along with a bonus, raw/uncut freestyle each week. Watch Part 1, โSmoking Sour with Sean Paul and Ching,โ and the first freestyle, โGang Gang Freestyle,โ here now.
