We’re four weeks away from the season’s official arrival, and 2019 is definitely in need of some proper summer anthems.

Fortunately, Busy Signal‘s “Got To Tell You” (a.k.a. “Zum Zum”) has arrived. A taste of Busy’s upcoming fifth album Parts of the Puzzle, set to drop later this year on VP Records, “Got to Tell You” has all of the elements of a windows-down-in-the-whip, backyard-ready summer jam. There’s breezy, uplifting chords; a flirty chorus; a bit of nostalgia (sourced from classic Cutty Ranks); and traces of various seasonally-appropriate sounds, from dancehall to reggaeton to afrobeats. And it’s all delivered with panache by Busy, an artist who’s never met a new style he couldn’t make his own. (We didn’t dub him “Busy Pavarotti” for nothing).

For the song’s video, directed by Unlimited LA and styled by Savannah Baker, Busy headed to Miami, where he meets up with some enthusiastic dancers and finds his way to an atmospheric backyard party. It’s a vibe.
