When they’re not building riddims for the likes of Chronixx, Kabaka Pyramid and Tessanne Chin, Jamaican producers Natural High‘s Halfway Tree, Kingston studio The Bungalow serves as an informal, musical clubhouse which the duo has colloquially dubbed the Chalice Palace.
Natural High’s Chalice Palace video series brings artists from their circle back to The Bungalow for dubbed-out live interpretations of previously released tracks like Royal Blu’s “Reap What You Sow” and “Run Run Run” with Jesse Royal.
For the latest installment in the series, Natural High reconnect with frequent collaborator Wayne Marshall — they produced 2018’s surprise gospel hit “Glory to God,” one of the largest tunes of his career — for a version of “Study People,” a track from their recent Delicious Vinyl Island album, Urban Roots II.
