In Jamaica circa 2019, talented women artists seem to grow from ackee trees. Thereโs never been a stronger female presence in reggae or dancehall. Even still, Jaz Elise stands out from the pack with her bubbly, tomboy style. On the heels of her LargeUp favorite โFor You,โ Jaz recently teamed with JLL, quickly becoming one of the islandโs most essential producers, to create the summer bop โFresh and Clean.โ
For the video for โFresh and Clean,โ premiering right here, right now, Jaz set up shop in and around Rockers International record shop on Orange Street in Downtown Kingston, as well as the shores of Bull Bay.
โโFresh and Cleanโ is just a feelgood song and a vibe,โ Jaz says. โMy hope is that people watching this video see it as a reflection of that. I pretty much hung out with some friends in some locations that I personally enjoyed being in. The spirit of โFresh and Cleanโ is to encourage everyone to be unapologetically themselves, embrace who they are, love themselves and just live and be happy as much as you can. Iโm very grateful for all the support thus far, it means the world to me!โ
