LargeUp Premiere: Watch Jaz Elise’s “Fresh & Clean” Video 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲

Words by LargeUp Crew

In Jamaica circa 2019, talented women artists seem to grow from ackee trees. There’s never been a stronger female presence in reggae or dancehall. Even still, Jaz Elise stands out from the pack with her bubbly, tomboy style. On the heels of her LargeUp favorite “For You,” Jaz recently teamed with JLL, quickly becoming one of the island’s most essential producers, to create the summer bop “Fresh and Clean.”

For the video for “Fresh and Clean,” premiering right here, right now, Jaz set up shop in and around Rockers International record shop on Orange Street in Downtown Kingston, as well as the shores of Bull Bay.

“‘Fresh and Clean’ is just a feelgood song and a vibe,” Jaz says. “My hope is that people watching this video see it as a reflection of that. I pretty much hung out with some friends in some locations that I personally enjoyed being in. The spirit of ‘Fresh and Clean’ is to encourage everyone to be unapologetically themselves, embrace who they are, love themselves and just live and be happy as much as you can. I’m very grateful for all the support thus far, it means the world to me!”
