Kes continue the rollout of their upcoming live album, We Home, today with a new version of one of their biggest hits.
“Hello,” originally released for the 2018 Trinidad Carnival season, has the most streams of any soca song released in the last decade. Nearly three years after its release, it’s shown no signs of slowing down – a truly organic hit. Following last week’s release of “Magic” it too gets a fresh makeover, with the band performing a live arrangement of the track, adding melodic depth to the original’s digital production.
To support the release, they’ve shared a video, shot during their recent live performance at Trinidad’s lush North Deck, which was filmed for the Celebrate Brooklyn Festival’s virtual edition last month.
