Virginia rap duo Clipse—brothers Pusha T and No Malice (formerly Malice)—were championing dancehall long before it became on trend in hip-hop again (particularly Pusha, whose latest mixtape, The Wrath of Caine, was full of Jamaican vibes), so it’s only fitting that their first track together in several years has some reggae flavor. We’re not sure who the vocalist on the hook for “Shame the Devil,” from No Malice’s upcoming Hear Ye Him album, is, but he sounds like a scientist-engineered cross between Beenie Man and Capleton, adding some red-hot fiyah fi burn bag ah wire over a hard-edged, hip-hop beat.

So, tell us in the comments: is “Shame the Devil” that fire, or just piggybacking on a current trend, even if the party in question helped get that trend going.
