“We Still A Win” (also known as “World Cup”) was Popcaan‘s biggest solo anthem of 2016, a victory lap for the artist in a year that saw him cross over into the mainstream on releases like Drake’s “Controlla.” Poppy has kept the momentum going into 2017 with new singles like “Addicted” and a headlining performance at Rebel Salute, and now he’s connected with Brooklyn rap icon Shyne to revamp the Notnice-produced “World Cup” for 2017. Shyne has deep roots in the Caribbean, as a son of Belize by way of Flatbush and as a collaborator with Barrington Levy on classic records from his Bad Boy Records days.
